We attach the schedule to the 3D model, so the physical build-up of the site can be visualised stage by stage, from the machines' travel routes to the placement of site huts, fencing and material storage. That exposes bottlenecks and clash risks while they are still cheap to solve, and the result is a safer, faster build with fewer delays. The model can be shared with everyone on the project as an interactive view, and that is often where the greatest value lies: everyone sees the same thing from the start, and the discussion is about solutions rather than about what was actually meant.

We pull terrain models for the specific location from satellite data, so topography, access roads and the surrounding infrastructure are part of the planning from day one. This way, we make sure the logistics strategy accounts for the constraints of the real world, not an idealised construction site. If the project needs greater detail or precision, we offer drone flyovers and scanning as a supplement.

By importing specific 3D models and building elements we can produce precise quantity take-offs: how many metres of fencing, how much surfacing, which specialist resources. That gives a financial overview as early as the first phases, while the budget can still be shaped. Along the way, costs and resources can be held up against the budget, so deviations become visible before they become expensive.

Our planning model is flexible and adapted to the individual project. We build the scenarios and the reporting the project actually needs, rather than forcing everyone through the same template. That goes for dashboards and exports too: the right information to the right people, at the point where it can be used.

Better logistics is also safer logistics and less wasteful logistics. When materials are only moved the times they need to be, and problems are anticipated rather than discovered, both the carbon footprint and the waste come down. And a site that is planned and easy to read is a site where fewer people get hurt. At the same time we help structure the data the certification demands, whether DGNB, BREEAM or LEED, so the documentation does not have to be invented afterwards.
