SiteHub, Denmark’s leading specialist in construction site management, has appointed Jan Nørregaard Olsen Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. He takes the role over from CFO André Sode, who has held it alongside his own until now. The promotion is a deliberate strengthening of the operational side of SiteHub. It follows several years of growth in both operations and support functions, and it prepares the organisation for further growth in the years ahead.
As COO, Jan Nørregaard Olsen takes overall responsibility for operations across the organisation and becomes the executive team’s closest sparring partner on the operational business, which runs from technology and site crew to site operations, analysis and consultancy.
For the past few years the new COO has led SiteHub’s operations in Region West, where the site specialists are involved in a number of large projects, among them one of the largest construction sites in the country on a project near Odense. That work carries high complexity, tight resource management and close contact with customers and clients, and it is the experience Jan now brings into his new role.
According to SiteHub CEO Ulrik Branner, Jan has been central to the development the company has been through over the past two years, because he knows SiteHub’s products and services inside out, understands what customers need, and knows how to run a safe and efficient construction site in the real world.
We have built the business at high speed, and with Jan on the executive team we get the operational weight it takes to keep growing.

“Jan leads from the front, and he has proved it on some of the most complex construction sites in the country. We have built the business at high speed, and with Jan on the executive team we get the operational weight it takes to keep growing. He stands close to both our colleagues and our customers, and that is where the safer, more efficient construction site is created,” says Ulrik Branner, CEO of SiteHub.
“I have spent the past few years on some of the largest sites in the country, with many moving parts and high complexity. It has taught me that good operations do not come from more systems, but from the people and the culture that make the systems work out on site. That is exactly where I will put my effort: closer to the construction site, closer to the customer, and with an organisation that can grow without losing what we are good at,” says the new COO, Jan Nørregaard Olsen.
